Historical Landscape Mural. Chatham, NY, acrylic on canvas, 5.6’ x 52’, completed 2005. Landscape influenced by the area around the historical residence where this mural is located. Other elements include figures from American history and a cherry tree motif requested by the client.

Caricatured Jazz Band Mural. Maryville, TN, acrylic on canvas, 8’ x 7’, completed 2000. Joel was given free reign in creating this humorous and playful mural for the lobby of a music store.

Pinto Horse Barn Mural. Great Barrington, MA, acrylic on site, 8’ x 40’, completed 2005. This mural was created for a child's playroom. Elements include trompe l'oeil horse and barn with a pasture landscape spanning three walls of the room.

Potted Palms and Trompe l'oeil Blocks. Sarasota, FL, exterior mural, fortified acrylic on stucco, 9’ x 30’, completed 2002. Created in a tropical setting for a lanai surrounding a swimming pool. These images merge the landscape with the house.

Trompe l'oeil Sky Dome. The First Baptist Church of Palmetto, Palmetto, FL, acrylic on site, 40’ diameter dome, 40’ high, completed 2003. Joel used a hydraulic lift to access this formerly white ceiling. This large lobby was transformed by the Tiepolo-style mural and warm glazed walls. The job was completed in two weeks.

Decorative Landscape Mural. Tampa, FL, acrylic on canvas, 8’ x 16’, completed 1999. This mural was the result of a request from the client to merge an African landscape with the natural setting of Tampa Bay. Personal elements were also included such as the client's pets and collectibles.

Fantasy Pirate Mural. Tampa, FL, acrylic on site, 5.6’ x 25’, completed in 2003. This mural is located in a child's bathroom.

Tropical Seascape Mural. Tarpon Springs, FL, acrylic on canvas, 8’ x 10’, completed 2000. This mural depicts Wailea Beach on Maui, HI.

Tropical Waterfall Mural. St. Petersburg, FL, acrylic on canvas, 3’ x 7’, completed in 1998. This mural was created to beautify a doorway that was closed off due to a renovation addition.

Tuscan Landscape Mural. Tampa, FL, acrylic on site, 9’x 20’, completed 1999. A trompe l'oeil crumbling wall creates the effect of expanded space in this long narrow room.
